Welder

This position involves the cutting and assembling parts to be welded to industrial equipment.  Duties include reading blueprints, cut and assemble parts to be welded, use a jig to weld parts, weld parts to the industrial equipment, part inspection, assembling purchased components and hardware.

Candidates should possess a sense of pride in their work, a willingness to work as part of a team as well as on their own, and the ability to think critically.

We will train a motivated individual.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Measuring and cutting material to specifications
    • Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances on the blueprint
    • Interpret Mechanical prints
    • Must have reliable transportation and own tools
    • Ability to utilize a variety of machine shop power tools
    • Possess personal organizational skills, follow company assembly procedures
    • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime on an as-needed basis
    • Good communication and problem solving

 

Desired Education and Experience

    • Experience in pneumatics, basic welding, fabrication, and/or machining preferred
    • High level of mechanical aptitude
    • Experience reading blueprints preferred
