Machine Builder
We want you! Pioneer Industrial Systems is a rapidly growing custom design and build, robotic, automation company in Northwest Ohio. In 2022 our company grew by 66% and we are continuing to expand. Due to this unprecedented expansion, we are seeking qualified, driven individuals to join our Pioneer family. In addition to overall company growth, we were awarded the 2022 FANUC Innovator of the Year Award for taking a FANUC robot from the factory to the highway to provide a safer and more efficient means of crack sealing.
We are looking for a motivated machine builder. Duties include reading blueprints, part inspection, assembling purchased components and hardware, and tear down mechanical systems to prepare shipping to customers.
Candidates should possess a sense of pride in their work, a willingness to work as part of a team as well as on their own, and the ability to think critically.
We will train a motivated individual.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assembly of custom equipment
- Good communication and problem solving
- Must have reliable transportation and own tools
- Ability to utilize a variety of machine shop power tools
- Interpret Mechanical prints and pneumatic schematics
- Possess personal organizational skills, follow company assembly procedures, maintain assembly documentation properly, and accurate time entry
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime on an as-needed basis
Desired Education and Experience
- Experience in pneumatics, basic welding, fabrication, and/or machining preferred
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Experience reading blueprints preferred
