FANUC: An Overview

Originally founded in 1958, FANUC has a history of innovation that spans decades. Their state-of-the-art robotics have been used to help organizations of all types increase accuracy, cut costs, eliminate waste, and more. 

One of the major advantages that FANUC brings to the table – and one that we rely on at Pioneer – comes by way of their proprietary software. It is this element that allows all of their robots to work together, forming something more powerful as a collective than any one of them could be on their own. The software allows collaborative robots to not only work in tandem with one another but to also operate alongside humans in the safest possible environment. This is true even in tight spaces like warehouses or factory floors. 

All told, our relationship with FANUC is one that runs deep. In 2022, Pioneer was proud to be awarded the FANUC America Innovative System of the Year award. It was presented at the annual Authorized System Integrator Conference in Florida. We received this distinction because of our own innovative use of taking a FANUC robot out of the factory and onto the highways of this country. Rest assured, however, that such an advancement would not have been possible were it not for the rock-solid foundation of automation technology that began with FANUC itself all those years ago.
