Due to this unprecedented expansion, we are seeking qualified, driven individuals to join our Pioneer family. In addition to overall company growth, we were awarded the 2022 FANUC Innovator of the Year Award for taking a FANUC robot from the factory to the highway to provide a safer and more efficient means of crack sealing.
We are looking for a motivated engineer that has experience in machine design standards, safety, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid delivery, as well as design and build estimating of industrial equipment.
Candidates should possess a sense of pride in their work, a willingness to work as part of a team as well as on their own, and the ability to think critically.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals based on customer’s requests for quotes
- Work with sales to identify project scope for quote requests
- Create custom 2D and 3D concept drawings
- Work with vendors to specify required components
- Maintain database of parts costs and templates used for estimating
- Balance several on-going projects at once while meeting deadlines
- Help support engineering on projects that you quoted
- Possess organizational skills, maintain a neat and organized work environment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime on an as-needed basis
Desired Education and Experience
- 5-7 years of experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required
- Experience with machine design, material handling, robotics, and automated equipment is required
- Must be fluent in AutoCAD, Inventor 3D Design, Word, Excel, and Email
