Due to this unprecedented expansion, we are seeking qualified, driven individuals to join our Pioneer family. In addition to overall company growth, we were awarded the 2022 FANUC Innovator of the Year Award for taking a FANUC robot from the factory to the highway to provide a safer and more efficient means of crack sealing.
We are looking for 1st shift skilled Fabricators to add to our growing Montpelier, OH facility. The candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal structures from blueprint specifications using tools common to the trade and for assembling structures and equipment by performing the following duties and having the following qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Align and fit using torches and hand tools to perform complete units or subunits
- Ability to tack-weld fitted parts using MIG or TIG welding
- Blueprint reading
- Attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively, collaboratively, and flexibly
- Must have good communication and a team player attitude
Desired Education and Experience
- 1+ years MIG/TIG welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams to build equipment from prints
- High School Diploma or GED
- A Welding Certificate or Associates Degree preferred but not mandatory
- Must pass a welding test
- Knowledge of various metals and their properties is essential
