Purchasing Agent
We want you!! Pioneer Industrial Systems is a rapidly growing custom design and build, robotic, automation company in Northwest Ohio. In 2022 our company grew by 66% and we are continuing to expand. Due to this unprecedented expansion, we are seeking qualified, driven individuals to join our Pioneer family. In 2022 we also opened a fabrication shop in Montpelier, Ohio to keep up with the demand for our services and recently moved into a much larger facility just down the street to accommodate our growing team.
Pioneer is seeking a motivated purchasing agent with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/purchasing.
Pay range is $20-22/hr depending on experience and skill set.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Purchasing raw materials
- Purchasing electrical and mechanical components
- Running open PO reports
- Following up with vendors on material lead times
- Establishing and maintaining healthy work relationships with vendors
Desired Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of ERP is a plus
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing/purchasing
