This job is at Glasstech in Perrysburg, Ohio in the Ampoint Manufacturing subdivision, but you are a Pioneer Industrial Systems’ employee. This position would involve entering parts into the computer system, then putting them away, issuing and then pulling parts for the OEM job on the floor, or sending them out to existing customers. This job is a very detail-oriented position regarding 100% correctness on content, packaging, and delivery schedule. If there is downtime in this area, you would be required to assist in other areas such as assembly, box shop, loading trucks, and receiving. A willingness to be cross trained in other areas, such as shipping and receiving
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Use Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office products
- Track incoming products
- Be able to perform cycle counts accurately and timely
- Package items for shipment
- Communicate with other departments
- Work closely with customers in a professional manner
- Drive a forklift
- Must have reliable transportation and own basic hand tools
- Interpret mechanical assembly drawings
- Possess personal and organizational skills, follow company procedures
- Must be a very detail-oriented individual
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime on an as-needed basis, involving extra hours during the week, and some Saturdays.
Desired Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equilavent
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Experience reading blueprints
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving process
- Basic computer skills and knowledge
- Aptitude with Microsoft office products and Outlook
