Pioneer is seeking a motivated lead installation technician that has experience in industrial automation systems. 30-40 weeks of travel per year is required for service calls, start-up, as well as commissioning of automated equipment at customer facilities.
Pay varies depending on experience and skill set. We offer above industry standard pay, plus a premium hourly rate for time spent on the road, as well as a project-based profit-sharing plan and the opportunity to grow and lead your own crew.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
- Working knowledge of industrial standards and practices for both electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Safety minded with understanding of industrial health and safety standards and safe work habits
- Capable of multi-tasking and coordinating multiple jobs simultaneously
- Have a CDL license or willingness to obtain a CDL in a timely manner
- Perform all machine and field wiring on custom-engineered machines
- Ensure electrical meets specifications, quality, functionality, and safety requirements
- Assemble electrical controls according to engineering data and standard electrical principles (code)
- Update schematics to as-built and maintain revision notes and relay any updates to supervisor
- Ensure completion of job checklist pertaining to electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic
- Lead and direct people to reflect a positive image as a Pioneer employee
- Clearly communicate and work with other internal departments, vendors, and customers
Desired Education and Experience
- 5+ years’ of experience in electrical wiring, mechanical assembly of manufacturing machinery, and pneumatic of customer engineered systems
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging industrial machinery
- Thorough and detail-oriented
- Willing to travel 75% +
